Toronto, Ontario

The Curator, Brazil Lucas and I took in an MLS game while in Ontario. Toronto FC was hosting the LA Galaxy, and the Galaxy was Lucas’ favorite US team.

A decent crowd, although no where near the rowdiness of the only other MLS game I’ve attended, which was in Seattle.

Toronto took an early 3-0 lead, and the Galaxy defense looked suspect.

LA would claw back and tie the game at 3. The highlight was Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic scoring on an impressive, spinning back-heel volley. It was the 500th goal of his career.

The comeback was not to be, as Toronto found the back of the net twice more, for a 5-3 win.
