Moose Crossing

Driving into Denali National Park one day this August, we were forced to stop for one of the locals. I love how small that car looks.

  I find it humorous that some people think the photograph is unique, when you and I know we have had these encounters hundreds of times over the years. I do agree the small car makes the moose look like a giant.

    Quite true, Pete. The image is not a unique one for me. For the young photographer who took the picture, and his brother who were with me when the moose crossed, and were visiting Alaska for the first time, it was a new experience. I enjoy seeing Alaska through new eyes; it reminds me how lucky I am, and to not take my world for granted.
