That was the text I received on Saturday evening, which was followed by: “Damn, I hate earthquakes.” I was out working in the yard and didn’t notice the brief shake. As it turns out, the quake was a 5.1 centered 45 miles or so northwest of town in the Minto area. It was a shallow bugger, at 10 miles deep, and we’ve had upwards of 200 aftershocks since then, which I haven’t felt either.
