That was the text I received on Saturday evening, which was followed by: “Damn, I hate earthquakes.” I was out working in the yard and didn’t notice the brief shake. As it turns out, the quake was a 5.1 centered 45 miles or so northwest of town in the Minto area. It was a shallow bugger, at 10 miles deep, and we’ve had upwards of 200 aftershocks since then, which I haven’t felt either.

Just a basic, down to Earth, laid back type of guy here, who loves the outdoors, the indoors, jazz on the turntable, a fire in the woodstove, the northern lights blazing across the sky, and the company of good friends. View all posts by icefogger
