Rover Haven

Or The Rover Hut.

Either way, I’m working on getting ready to install a new transmission and transfer case on The Rover. Second gear started to act up just short of Watson Lake, YT. I’ve been able to continue to drive it by by-passing second gear, but the time has arrived to replace it and having a complete new/rebuilt unit shipped up is cheaper than rebuilding in this town. Plus, I just like the idea of a completely rebuilt unit pairing up with that still shiny Turner Engine.

With a ready-heater in The Rover Hut, I should be able to work comfortably until it drops to zero degrees or so.

So many things to work on, and so little hours of daylight.
