Happy 90th birthday to Chuck Berry. A truly one of a kind artistic talent, whose wonderful, visual lyrics and guitar prowess transformed multiple generations.
To paraphrase Bruce Springsteen: “You may have never seen a ‘coffee-colored Cadillac’, but you know exactly what one looks like.”
Just a basic, down to Earth, laid back type of guy here, who loves the outdoors, the indoors, jazz on the turntable, a fire in the woodstove, the northern lights blazing across the sky, and the company of good friends.

We were lucky enough about 10 years ago to see Chuck along with Little Richard in concert at a Casino near WI Dells. GREAT SHOW !!!! Often times a “Mount Rushmore” of sports players, coaches, actors, etc. is discussed–who are the four people you’d put on the Mount Rushmore of Rock and Roll?? Lets make it two Mt Rushmore’s for R & R: ( A ) the Fifties and ( B ) the Sixties. L J

I’m envious. I have not seen Berry or Little Richard perform live. I will have to give the Mt Rushmore of R&R some thought.
